She has an elegance, and a femenine beauty remeniscent of romantic period paintings. Her clothing to me carries the same qualities even though each peice on its own is far from applying to those adjectives or bringing an image of elegant natural beauty to mind. Such a great mix of color pallets and textures. Cool girl.

Halloween is already past us!

I really got a strong urge to start a large fire, because I feel like it is a night for fires, but I was missing my fire freind and the rain drizzled freezing with high winds, so a fire in the fireplace was as far as I got. ( setting my sock on fire accidentally was a highlight of that expereince). Making the deer antlers was a fun, if bloody ( wearing gloves while handeling chicken wire is a good idea) learning experience for me. I was planning on painting the horns/covering the base in fabric, but the date snuck up on me, and I decided that an industrial age headress might be mroe appropriate for the state of a forest spirit now anyway...I forgot my chains of dried flowers for my hair, but other than that I felt pretty pleased with my last minute costume.

francois gilot, I just recently found a picture of her in a Picasso book in the library and I was struck by her beauty, and after researching I found that she is not only a muse and ex-wife of picasso, but also an extremely talented artist in her own right. Im sold on Freancois.
